Monthly Meetings
The monthly South Central Missouri Kennel Club meeting is held the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Howell-Oregon Electric Community Room in West Plains, meeting starts promptly at 7pm. There are no dogs allowed at this meeting. Dates for our monthly meetings can be viewed on our Calendar page.

Conformation, Rally, Obedience, and Agility Practice
The club members meet every Monday evening at 6:30 PM at the Risner Ranch riding arena in West Plains, MO off of HWY 63. This gathering is for socialization of your dog and to get them used to being around other people, dogs, and it is just a good excuse to take the dogs to town. We do have conformation, rally, obedience, and agility practice as well.
*These are not formal training classes*
The only requirements are that your dog must be on a leash and you MUST have your proof of annual Rabies Vaccination as is required by law.

Directions to the Risner Ranch:
FROM MOUNTAIN GROVE/HOUSTON/WILLOW SPRINGS/MOUNTAIN VIEW/POMONA:
Take 63 into West Plains, you will go through all the stoplights in town (I think there is 5, 6 if you count the flashing light by the cinema, which is the second to last light) just after the last light, you will turn right on the first road, which is Creamery Road (if you get to Dairy Queen you've gone too far) then turn into the first drive on the right (you will see a sign for Risner Quarter Horses) once you pull in, pass the first house, go around the pond and turn off to the right, follow the road up to the arena.
FROM THAYER/KOSHKONG/MAMMOTH SPRINGS:
Take 63 into West Plains, just after Dairy Queen turn left on Creamery Road, then turn into the first drive on the right (you will see a sign for Risner Quarter Horses) once you pull in, pass the first house, go around the pond and turn off to the right, follow the road up to the arena.
FROM ALTON:
Take 160 into West Plains, turn left on Porter Wagner Blvd., turn right at the first stop light, which is Gibson Street (you will see Dominoes Pizza on your right and McDonald's on your left) and left at the next light, which is Jan Howard Expressway/Hwy 63 (at Sonic), you will go through all the stoplights in town (I think there is 5, 6 if you count the flashing light by the cinema, which is the second to last light) just after the last light, you will turn right on the first road, which is Creamery Road (if you get to Dairy Queen you've gone too far) then turn into the first drive on the right (you will see a sign for Risner Quarter Horses) once you pull in, pass the first house, go around the pond and turn off to the right, follow the road up to the arena.
